Cooler temperatures — and maybe some showers — headed to SoCal this weekend, thanks to a late-season cold front.
A cold front will hit the region for the second half of the week, bringing a mix of dry weather and showers (and possibly some rain) to highlands, including coastal Los Angeles.
The cold front moved through this weekend, bringing up to a little more than an inch of snow on the Sierra Nevada, and rain on the coast.
The front — moving through the Sierra at around 50 mph — will bring highs in the low 70s to the high sixties on Sunday in the mountains and near 60 in the coast.
Dry conditions will return to most of Southern California Monday.
Another cold front is on the way through the region Tuesday, bringing a break from the rain and more cool temperatures that will reach the low to mid 70s in the mountains, and in the low to mid 60s in the coast.
The temperature will be in the high 70s to low 80s on Tuesday on the Sierra, and in the high teens to low 20s on the coast.
The weather pattern — bringing an end to the month — is expected to move through the region Wednesday, bringing more rain and high temperatures in the low 30s to near 30 — and possibly a few showers.
That’s followed by a cold front Thursday into Friday, and then some dry weather through the weekend.
Here’s your forecast for the second half of the week.
